Fee Concession and Financial Assistance

Fee concession is granted every year on the basis of poverty to the extent of 10% of the number of students in each class/course. For Fee Concession the applications in the prescribed form must be submitted in the Office by 15 September. Only those applicants may be granted fee concession who attend at least 75% lectures in each subject/course.

Half fee concession shall be allowed to a student whose older brother or sister is also on the rolls of the Department and is paying full fees, to the extent of 15% of the number of students in each class/course.

Financial assistance will also be available from the Students' Aid Fund to the deserving economically weaker students to meet their tuition fee/examination fee/purchase books/ meet medical expenses, if their needs are genuine (Ordinarily, the total aid to a particular student shall not exceed Rs. 600/- in a session).

The scrutiny of applications for recommending the cases for fee concession and financial assistance will be done by the Fee Concession Committee. The Committee will interview the applicants, if necessary. The decision of the Principal shall be final.

5.

Fee concession/financial assistance may be withdrawn if a student does not attend 75% lectures or if his/her performance in the Mid Term Tests is unsatisfactory.
