Main Functions:-

• Convening of meetings of Academic Council & Standing Committee of the AcademicCouncil.
• Granting Affiliation to various categories colleges affiliated to the University.
• Conduct of Inspections for the grant / continuation of affiliation / ation ofCompliance reports of the short-comings pointed out by the previous inspectioncommittees.
• Adoption of Regulations for affiliation/admission/examination etc.
• Equivalence of Degrees/ Courses for admission purposes.
• Notification of syllabus of all the courses after approval by the competent academicbodies like BOS/Faculty/Academic Council.
• Notification of Research Degree Committee.
