Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was a great freedom fighter, Social Reformer and political leader. He was also a great nationalist thinker. In view of that Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Chair was established in H.P.University, 2012 and activated in the year 2020. The main theme to establish the Chair is to inculcate the philosophy, history, politics, economics, sociology and culture of India. The thoughts of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee may spread in the masses and future generation. So that coming generation may get the inspiration of Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s philosophy.
In view of that Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Chair is going to be started one year Diploma Course and Ph.D. program Course by the academic session 2021, under Prof. Shriram Sharma as founder Head of the Chair joined in the month of September, 2020.
