Message From Controller of Examination's Desk

The Office of the Controller of Examinations is responsible for the announcement of examination schedules, the preparation of question papers, the conduct of examinations, the evaluation of answer s, and declaration of results as per academic schedule.

The key role and activity of COE office and examination wing is to conduct examinations in a fair and smooth manner, evaluation by maintaining secrecy & confidentiality and endeavour to declare results on time. HP University is having about 400 affiliated colleges, having 158 examination centres at a time and catering to approx. 85 thousand students through out the state including far flung areas.

The examination wing is having conduct, examination, evaluation and re-evaluation and secrecy branches having committed employees, section officer, under supervision of assistant registrar, deputy registrar along with assistant controller of examination to execute their responsibilities. In order to keep pace with the environmental changes the university is also adopting IT and ERP to improve efficiency and facilitating students by creating level playing field. Its success is determined by support of the top management, positive team spirit, collaborative effort, clear communication and recognition and appreciation of efforts no matter how big or small.
