Activities (October 2016-May 2017)

1. Cracker Free campaign was organized on 22nd October, 2016.  The students spread the message of cracker free and safe diwali by holding placards and banners in the university.  
2. On 21st March, 2017 World Social Work Day was celebrated by observing the theme of the year, Promoting Community and Environmental Sustainability which relates to the third pillar of the Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development. The students along with faculty members volunteered to plant trees on university campus and vowed to spread awareness of conserving and planting trees. 
3. On 7th April, 2017, World Health Day was observed by organizing hand washing campaign at Himachal University Model School, Summerhill. Around 70 children participated by washing hands with soap and water which influences the hygiene practices of children.
