Admission Policy
The annual academic sessions starts with intake enrollment of 30 students in Masters in Sociology and 20 students in Masters in Social Work. The admission to the course will be made on the basis of academic career and through Entrance Examination conducted by H.P. University, Shimla - 5.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 48 credits in major subject, 48 credits in two minor subjects, 9 credits on compulsory, 1 credit in GI & hobby with aggregate of 106 credits for the award of pass degree OR A Bachelor’s degree with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST). The reservation and weightage will be given as per the rules and regulations of the University notified from time to time.

2) M.A. in Social Work
|
A Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) from a University established by law in India with a minimum of 48 credits in Major subject, 48 credits in two subjects, 9 credits in compulsory, 1 credit in GI & hobby with aggregate of 106 credits for award of pass degree. OR A Bachelor’s degree with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST). The reservation and weightage will be given as per the rules and regulations of the University notified from time to time. |
