It gives me immense pleasure to introduce to you The Institute of Vocational (Tourism) Studies of H.P. University Shimla. We are a pioneer Institute in the country to offer a wide variety of Tourism and Hospitality courses like Masters in Tourism Administration, Bachelor in Hotel management and Five Year Integrated Course in Tourism Administration besides PhD in Tourism. The very fact that we are running the courses in the cosmopolitan tourist town of Shimla, whose economy, culture and society is based on international & domestic tourism since the British Raj, makes them better equipped to deal with various tourists. I am sure that our students are an asset to all tourism organizations in the country. We welcome on-the-campus interviews and also request potential employers to invite our students for training and placements.
