The two days Tourism Conclave  “Road Map for Developing Tourism in Himachal Pradesh” organized by Institute of Vocational Studies (10^th – 11the December, 2021), concluded on 11^th evening. Prof. S.C. Bagri, a renowned Tourism Academician graced the event as the Special Guest on the Inaugural ceremony on 10^th December. The event was attended by Tourism Academicians, Industry Representatives, Research Scholars, students and entrepreneurs engaged in various tourism businesses both in Himachal and different parts of the country. Several alumni of IVS, now at top positions in the Tourism trade of the country attended the event. The deliberations of the Conclave were spread over four panel discussion sessions and saw intense exchange of views that addressed both the problems being faced by Tourism in Himachal and suggestions to improve tourism in the State with the way of chalking out a map for future of Tourism in Himachal. The Valedictory function was graced by Chief Guest, Mr. Vineet Mahendru, alumnus of IVS and presently the CEO, Kuoni Destination Management. The Conclave concluded on 11^th evening.
